Multi-sensory educational software is software that allows students to learn by the processing of stimuli through two or more senses. This type of software is great for many learners, such as students with ADHD, visual learners, kinesthetic learners, as well as auditory learners.
An example of this type of software is TouchMath, which is a complete multi sensory math program to make critical concepts appealing and accessible for students of all ages, abilities and learning styles. I think this tool would be great to use for all ages of children with disabilities or not. This seems like a great way to incorporate technology to teaching Math.
