A voice output communication devices are electronic systems used to supplement or replace speech or writing for individuals with severe impairments, enabling them to verbally communicate their needs. These types of devices allow individuals with limited means of interacting verbally to become active participants in communication interactions. Voice output devices can help build receptive language skills and verbal speech, supoort motor learning, integrate sensory skills, and aid in the development of literacy.
